In 2003, Romanyk Consulting began developing a Biosurety Development and Management Program. The main goals of the program were to be able to identify as well as react to the main issues surrounding personnel reliability in relation to the use and storage of biological select agents and toxins within the United States Army.
The program was furthermore developed in response to the 2001 anthrax letter attacks on the United States Congress. As well as the resulting guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control, including the requirements of public law, federal law, and United States Army regulations.
Our central model revolves around the "Four Pillars of Biosurety" and is inclusive of the following:
- Safety
- Security
- Personnel Reliability
- Biological Select Agent & Toxin Inventory Tracking and Accountability
The BDMP is defined by the "Four Pillars of Biosurety". Based on a sound foundation of good business practice and training, the Four Pillars of Biosurety will support the surety, information management, as well as the reporting goals and requirements of the organization.
RCC's comprehensive dedication to quality and ethics is integrated into our work in biosurety. We are highly experienced in guiding organizations in the pursuit of compliance to laws and regulations as they relate. We can assist your organization in achieving excellence in personnel reliability reporting and biological select agent inventory management. |
