Ms. Yumei Wang Joins Romanyk's Electrical Engineering Team

Yumei is a registered electrical engineer with 23 years of electrical design experience. She specializes in power distribution systems, emergency power, lighting, fire alarm, and communications systems for health care facilities.

 

She is registered in 15 states and is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD); Certified Technology Specialist (CTS); and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). She has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.


In her spare time, she loves fishing in the lakes and rivers around Nebraska & Iowa.

VISN 12 Facility Condition
Assessment

Romanyk is thrilled to be starting a fourth FCA for CFM!

 

The VISN 12 FCA involves the assessment of eight (8) VA Medical Centers located within Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

 

The RCC A/E team will conduct boots-on-the-ground condition assessment of 334 buildings, totaling 10,159,852 GSF.

Upgrade Mechanical Systems Kansas City VAMC

A task order issued under VISN 15, Romanyk is designing a new mechanical system for the Second Floor, East Wing within Building 1 at the Kansas City VA.


The project replaces and modernizes four (4) Air Handling Units, ductwork, and controls. Prior to the start of design, RCC conducted Lidar scans to map all existing overhead MEP utilities.

EHRM Infrastructure
Upgrade, Omaha

Romanyk has begun design on its second EHRM Infrastructure Upgrade project for the Department of Veteran's Affairs.


The Omaha EHRM is a $20 million project affecting multiple buildings and IT closets on the medical center. It will upgrade fiber and power distribution, and create a robust redundant system to protect health records.

Romanyk did a very good job managing this project. The management team did a very good job with the finance portion of project such has making sure invoices were correct and communicating very well to keep station informed of anything that they thought was significant to the project.
