Romanyk Consulting Corporation (RCC) is providing all necessary architectural and engineering design services to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates, including construction period services. The purpose of this project is to correct deficiencies in mechanical systems, electrical systems, life safety requirements and wayfinding in order to provide a better healthcare experience for Veterans.
This project provides for the complete replacement of four (4) Air Handlers, one (1) Air Handler/Chiller System, one (1) Energy Recovery Wheel system and two (2) IT Phone Network Rack Cooling Split Systems at three buildings within the John Cochran campus. Project also provides for the complete replacement of all associated mechanical and electrical utilities serving the impacted equipment to reconfigure mechanical room spaces. The replacement involves three (3) buildings on the John Cochran Campus and serves approximately 15,000 sq. ft. of critical care, laboratory and administrative office spaces.
Scope also includes field investigation; a Hazardous Materials Survey for the impacted areas; and structural design analysis to verify the need for structural modification to accommodate the new mechanical equipment.
