Romanyk Consulting Corporation (RCC) was contracted for complete design services to assess, correct and upgrade their existing 14,000 SF laundry facility.
A feasibility study was developed consisting of several alternatives including cost estimates to convert the existing laundry to a distribution storage facility and equipment maintenance shop. An integrated, multidiscipline design team was assembled to investigate existing infrastructure conditions, utility needs, and identify space reconfiguration needs resulting in the alternatives included in the feasibility study that adhered to applicable current codes.
Following the feasibility study, design documents were prepared for the preferred alternative necessary to accommodate construction bidding. Management efforts included regular project status reports, schedule tracking, technical deliverables consistent with VA PG 18 15, and coordination with the local COR.
